Why cleaning matters
Salt and mud packed into a chassis hold water against the steel long after the road has dried. Cleaning that out is corrosion prevention in itself, and on farm and site vehicles it makes a real difference.
It also exposes what is really going on. Plenty of chassis look sound under a coat of dirt and old underseal until it comes off.
