Where fabrication is needed
Repair panels exist for popular models, but plenty of vehicles on Irish roads have no off-the-shelf section for the exact area that has rotted. Rather than compromise with a generic plate, the section is cut, folded and formed to match what came off.
This matters most on box sections and mounts, where the shape of the steel is doing the structural work.
